SA Educators walk off the job

Yesterday, educators from twenty-one SA Centres walked off the job to campaign for Equal Pay.

Yesterday, educators from twenty-one SA Centres walked off the job to campaign for Equal Pay.

In March, four SA centres walked off the job.

Yesterday’s action represents a huge step up in the campaign.

Educators have sent a loud message to Malcolm Turnbull’s Government, and they will not be silenced.

Members had the support of their families, who understand the importance of the work they do and support members’ campaign for Equal Pay.

Educators standing together have power.

At a rally in Elder Park, educators voted to escalate their action if Malcolm Turnbull has not agreed to value their work by the 1st of February 2018.
